After an ice cream, some Belikin, and some much needed hammock time, It's back at it again, with heading out to Rock Beauty, and Margarita Canyon out at the reef.
There was quite a lot of wildlife on the dive, and even during the SI, there were southern rays and small nurse sharks around our boat, so I decided for a quick snorkel with them.
Heading back out after the SI, the waters started getting rougher than I'm used to, about 4-6' swells. I geared up, stepped to the back platform, timed my stride, and found myself in mid air, as the stern of the boat disappeared down the back of a wave. I figured I have two options, fall awkwardly onto the boat platform, or tuck and roll into the ocean. I picked the latter.
When I poped back up to the surface, I found Major, our captain, rolling around the fly bridge, lauging at my graceful attempt at a landing, as I gave him the 'OK' signal (and possibly along with a finger ...)
Fitting for my 13th dive .... to fall off of a boat. The rest of the dive was pretty relaxing and nothing major to report back.
